Neighbourhood Wardens’ report for December 2013

Dog fouling

Wardens have investigated 10 reports of dog fouling. They have also removed 10 stray dogs.


Wardens investigated 2 reports of littering and issued 3 fixed penalty notices for littering.

Fly tipping

53 incidents of fly tipping were reported this month. Wardens carried out 24 investigations into these incidents in order to try to find any evidence to link the fly tipping to those who dumped it.

Untidy yards and gardens

2 advisory letters and 2 litter clearing notices have been issued to properties with untidy gardens or yards. 3 fixed penalty notices have been issued to properties which have failed to respond to requests to clear their yards or gardens.

Antisocial behaviour

Wardens dealt with 1 incident of antisocial behaviour reported directly by members of the public, as well as 28 incidents which were passed via the Police Airwaves system. Wardens have carried out 1 seizure of alcohol from under aged drinkers this month.
