I only just got tickets for the panto at the Empire today, so it serves me right that some of our party were separated from my granddaughter – I should have bought the tickets sooner.
I checked on my way out and there are still some tickets left for the final four days – each one a 3.00 p.m. performance – but it’s worth ringing to book in advance judging by the pile waiting for people “on the door” when I arrived. It was a joy to see the Empire full and so many families enjoying a great time in the theatre.
Even though I ended up with no child in tow, the enthusiasm was infectious and no-one could resist joining in “the music man”. Roll on next Christmas.1 Comment
