Later licence sought in Consett

Union/K2 (previously Poison & Ore Bar – and before that Soviet Inion if I remember rightly) has applied to extend its licence for the hours of alcohol sale until 3.00 a.m. and regulated entertainment until 3.30 a.m.

The application was January 15th and people have until February 12th to make representations to the county council Licensing Department. For this application ring 03000 265254.

I’ll be happy to take anyone’s comments on the application.

Owen Temple, who has been Consett North's Lib Dem Councillor since 2007, and Margaret Nealis are committed to working for local people in Consett, to make sure that their voice is heard at County Hall. As the county council takes a more and more centralised and "one-size-fits-all" approach, it is more important than ever for Consett to have campaigners who will stand up for this town.
